Past projects

Effort is appreciated but
results are what matter

Who:  Leading producer and administrator of vehicle protection products in Canada and the US

Need:  Migrate from an internally developed, legacy contract administration system to a commercial cloud offering from StoneEagle F&I

Engagement:  Develop a reliable and repeatable ETL process to migrate the legacy data, manage the organizational change activities to implement the new system successfully, and oversee the project management throughout the process

Challenges:  Client was the first beta customer for the vendor's data load process. Due to the complexity of the data load, the project plan had to adapt weekly to address unforseen challenges and ensure the project's success

Who:  US VC funded EV fleet management company

Need:  Scalable IT strategy

Engagement: Build and implement an IT strategy that would support 1 - 3 years of growth. The strategy had to minimize headcount additions, leverage outsourced services, and keep capital costs down

Challenges:  With the staff decentralized across Canada and the US, finding an outsource IT provider capable of delivering desktop and server support services, cross-border procurement, and security for a company <50 staff was more difficult than expected

Who:  Clearing service provider for Canadian mutual funds

Need:  An industry sponsored company that would develop and implement data standards and applications to link participants in the Canadian mutual fund industry

Engagement:  Create the entity from scratch and design, build, implement and operate the applications necessary to support mutual fund order placement, reconciliation and net-settlement services

Challenges:  There was no playbook for this project. We started with an office in Toronto's financial district, and built a business called FundServ that sits at the heart of the Canadian mutual fund industry
